Enneagram type 7 people are motivated by everything that is new and exciting. They prefer to look at things from the positive side, and experience that the world is full of possibilities. They do not like to adhere to agreements and procedures, and they may panic at the thought that they do not have a choice. They like to make fantastic plans, which are not necessarily carried out, and they have an outgoing, spell-binding enthusiasm which others may interpret as superficiality.

You lose your breadth of view and have eyes only for details and how you can make this particular thing even better. You gain access to anger, and you may find yourself being rather resentful towards others or yourself.

When you are resourceful and well-balanced, you gain access to the behavioural pat-terns of type 5. You become more introvert and thoughtful. It is more important to you to use your time to gather knowledge, and you enjoy being alone with a great book. This way you can sit in peace and quiet and think great thoughts about the mysteries of life.
